My name is Taz, and this is the story of my retirement from active duty to civilian life as a service dog. My hashtag is #tazoteausmc and this Day 1.
Yesterday, I took a long nap and woke up without my unit in a place that looks and smells strange. I thought it was a dream. Nope. My name is Taz, and this is the story of my retirement from active duty to civilian life as a service dog. My hashtag is #tazoteausmc and this Day 1 of my new life.
Sniffed under every car in the area looking for anything suspicious. Nearly got stuck under a Prius. WTF, people? Is that a toy? Have yet to see a cargo vehicle.
Currently scanning area for threats. So far, all is clear, but I’d feel better if food lady and her kid would stay inside and let me work. The snack tower out here smells interesting, but where’s the beef?
I hear we’re going to the beach. I can’t tell you how excited I am to see sand again. Oh, the irony of this being a treat…
